Seasonal requests for use will be considered en masse and not first submitted, first allocated. Requests received after the submission deadline will be considered and scheduled within what facility availability remains.

Fall Season (September 2 – December 31 2025)
Now accepting recurring requests for the Fall season using the 2025-26 Season Request Form [PDF/366KB]. Completed requests may be submitted to info@panoramarec.bc.ca .
Groups can expect confirmation of their awarded timeslot(s) by August 18. 

Winter Season (January 1 - April 30 2026)
Requests will be accepted for this period in November 2025.

Panorama Recreation Centre features two full-size arenas, available for ice and dry floor rentals. Ice season is typically August to April. Dryfloor season is typically mid April until early August. (No ice is available during this time).

The gymnasiums at Greenglade Community Centre and North Saanich Middle School are available for rent.

Centennial Park is a 18.42 hectare community park, located in the 7500 block of Wallace Drive, Saanichton. The following facilities within the park will be available for reservation through Panorama Recreation.

Panorama Recreation offers a variety of court facilities, including 4 indoor tennis courts, 2 outdoor tennis courts, 1 squash court, a versatile court for racquetball, squash, or wallyball, 1 indoor basketball hoop, and 4 covered pickleball courts in the new Multi Sport Box at Centennial Park —perfect for sports enthusiasts of all levels.

Getting started:

1. Click the link above to browse available times for the upcoming program season in our booking portal.
2. Login using your school’s unique organizational profile, which can be obtained from your school administrator.
3. Complete the included questionnaire to confirm group size, ages, teacher info, and request special amenities.
4. Complete payment using the school credit card assigned to your account. Contact reception to book if payment assistance is needed.

Applicable fees include facility use, plus additional staff to maintain ratios and/or provide requested amenities. Note: SD63 schools do not pay facility rental fee, per joint-use agreement. Discount will be applied automatically at time of registration for eligible schools.

Liability insurance, listing Capital Regional District as additionally insured, is required for all facility rentals. The amount of liability insurance depends on the activity. If you do not have an existing policy, you can purchase coverage online at Instant Risk Coverage. 

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property or in the buildings.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Refund eligibility may be subject to notice periods and administrative fees.

• Facility Room Rentals: Written notice must be received at least 10 days prior to the event.
• All Other Facility Rentals: Written notice must be received at least 30 days in advance.

If the required notice is not provided, the full rental fee will be charged.

Food is permitted in most rental spaces.   

Use Food Trucks at your event requires pre-approval.

Alcohol is only permitted at rental events with the necessary approvals and permits, in full compliance with all provincial and municipal regulations. 

All required permits must be obtained in advance and clearly displayed during the event.

Failure to follow these regulations may result in the cancellation of the event and loss of future booking privileges.

We recommend booking as soon as possible, ideally at least 2–4 weeks in advance. Some popular spaces may require even more notice due to high demand.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in most rental spaces at Panorama Recreation Centre and Greenglade Community Centre.   We recommend checking the connection prior to your event to ensure it meets your needs.

Wi-Fi is not available at Centennial Park.

Pets are welcome at the picnic shelters in Centennial Park, provided they are leashed and under control at all times. 

However, only certified guide & assistance animals are permitted inside the Centennial Park Fieldhouse, within Panorama Recreation Centre and Greenglade Community Centre. 
Peninsula Recreation Commission Policy 01-2006

Yes, washroom facilities are available during all rentals. The specific washrooms accessible will depend on the location and time of your booking. For after-hours rentals, please confirm washroom access with our booking team in advance.

Reservations have priority use. If someone is occupying the space, you may show them your rental contract as proof of reservation.

Bouncy castles and other play equipment are only permitted at designated set up areas within Centennial Park and at Greenglade Community Centre locations.

Please note:

• Only sandbags are allowed for securing equipment — no stakes, due to irrigation systems underground.
• A generator is required as exterior power is not provided.
