Gingerbread House Challenge
Through December, stop by Panorama Recreation Centre where all the gingerbread house challenge displays will be showcased in the lobby for everyone to enjoy. Visitors will have the chance to admire the creativity and cast their votes for their favourite designs. Public voting will run for the entire month, and prizes will be awarded to the top-voted entries in several fun categories.
All proceeds to benefit CFAXs Santas Anonymous.

Jump into the fun! Our Winter/Spring 2026 lineup is bursting with playful recreation programs, feel-good wellness activities, and endless ways to stay active, creative, and connected. Whether you’re looking to try something new, build healthy habits, or simply enjoy time with friends and family, there’s a little something for everyone waiting to be discovered!
Registration begins for:
- General Programs: Thursday, December 4 @ 6:30am.
- Swim & Skate Lessons: Thursday, December 11 @ 6:30am. (Viewable online December 4)
Winter Wonderland
Skate amongst a festive display of lights, trees, and seasonal inflatables! Daily public skates and private rentals available.
Winter Wonderland Family Carnival
December 20, 11am-3pm
Holiday fun for the whole family...on ice! Enjoy hot chocolate, kids games, painting on the ice, and special visits from Santa and Slider. Skate rentals and helmet borrowing available. Skate aids (plastic assists) available upon request.
