Ryan utilizes a movement approach to fitness and seeks to find a balance between an individual's strength and flexibility attempting to better joint function. Promoting longevity is the main goal of Ryan's programming, ensuing a client learns about their body in the process of moving. Our bodies will tell a story of how we've moved previously and solving the riddle of poor movement patterns is where he can provide guidance, expertise and encouragement.
Ryan promises that better health and well-being is not an overnight endeavour. Consistent progress comes with consistence practice and better health comes with focus rather than aversion. Turn a page in your movement story every day and you will eventually finish a chapter, a short story and possibly an encyclopedia.

Ryan is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. He has a lifelong passion for fitness. He is someone who really enjoys seeing people achieve their goals and maximize their potential. Whether you are looking to build muscle, lose weight, or enhance your overall health he is committed to designing a program to meet your individual goals.
Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT)
Ethan Ewer is in his fourth year of Kinesiology and hold a certification as an NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT). With extensive experience in both high-level hockey and competitive powerlifting, he have a strong foundation in athletic performance and strength training. Ethan have helped numerous individuals achieve their fitness goals, and is passionate about guiding others on their fitness journeys.
Ethan currently supervises the weight room on Fridays 4-9:30pm and Saturdays 4:30-8:30pm. If you're interested in personal training or learning more about how he can help you reach your goals, feel free to stop by during those times. Ethan looks forward to working with you!
Certified BCRPA Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor
Jan is dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness goals in a fun, safe and supportive environment. With a diverse background in fitness instruction and athletic endeavors, she brings a unique blend of expertise and experience to our Panorama Fitness team. Jan is an avid trail runner, with a love of the forest and all things nature, having completed 3 Ultra distance events. She was also a triathlete and NCCP triathlon coach, competing in over 40 events, spanning distances from sprint to ironman.

Lynn is a lifetime learner who recently completed her Kinesiology degree and became a Certified Exercise Physiologist. Previous to that, she worked in corporate life as a financial analyst and product manager and in Academia as an academic expert for the business faculty at Athabasca University.
Feeling privileged to pursue her passion in health, fitness and active aging, Lynn enjoys working with people who are new to the weight room as she believes that gyms are for everyone. Lynn is also a staff member at the Take Heart and Breath Well program and has volunteered over 300 hrs for MOVE Adapted Fitness and Rehabilitation Society.
Lynn continues to work on her own fitness journey through weight training, swimming, biking and nutrition. She also loves spending time with her family and pets, reading, healthy cooking and nature.
Angela’s passion for fitness is deeply rooted in her adventurous New Zealand upbringing, where the great outdoors was her playground. Whether hiking, skiing, surfing, or riding, she embraced every challenge the stunning landscape had to offer. After relocating to Canada, Angela pushed her limits further by conquering 10k races, half-marathons, and triathlons, before discovering her true calling in strength training. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to achieve certifications in Weight Training, Personal Training, and Nutrition Advising, solidifying her expertise in health and wellness.
Today, Angela leads invigorating Spin, TRX, Hiit and Bootcamp classes and Yoga classes that offer a well-rounded approach to fitness. As the Coordinator for the Fitness and Weights Department, she continues to inspire and empower others to reach their full potential, both physically and mentally. Angela’s journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to helping others live healthier, stronger lives.
Spin, TRX, and HIIT Instructor Weight Training for Teens instructor Personal Trainer
Liam has been a valued member of Panorama Recreation for over 7 years. He brings enthusiasm and positivity to work every day and enjoys being a part of the local community. Liam teaches Spin, TRX, Circuit, Bootcamp and has led the Weight Training for Teens program which inspiring youth in the community to include strength training in their lives. He has built up an impressive personal training clientele and has worked with tennis, hockey, and rugby athletes at varying competitive levels as well as assisting with the RCMP PARE evaluations. He has completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology through Camosun College and continues to learn and collaborate with professionals to bring exercise technologies to the public. Liam is always open to questions and happy to help!

As a new resident to the island, Kim has found inspiration amongst the locals (of all ages!) to continue her own passion for fitness and wellness by embarking on fitness training and education herself. Her passion is making fitness both challenging and fun. Whether it is with a group or an individual, Kim relies on her enthusiasm and strong teaching techniques for learning what works best for every one of her clients. Having the tools to improve life through fitness, she believes that everyone can expect to enjoy all that life has to offer. Not only has she been an elementary school teacher for over 20 years, Kim has also enjoyed running in several half marathons, skiing the Rockies with her family, golfing since she was a small child, and playing women's hockey. In her spare time Kim enjoys travelling, strength training, hiking, gardening and fishing.

Cathy developed a keen interest in the human body when she started working as an Optometric Assistant in 2000. She became an avid runner, competing in several 10k and half marathon races and completed a full marathon in 2005! Cathy found a hidden desire to show others how fitness training can improve their quality of life and how it can even slow down the aging process! You will also see Cathy supervising in the Weight Room as well as teaching Osteofit classes here at Panorama. She is a BCRPA registered Group Fitness, Weight Training and Osteofit Instructor. Cathy enjoys working with people of all ages and has a sincere desire to help each participant reach their fitness goals while having fun along the way!

Rachel has worked with para-athletes, hockey, volleyball, soccer, basketball and rugby as well as groups like PISE Adaptive and the Prostate Center. Helping people learn how to move their bodies safely is a passion that she has continued to develop through the program. Rachel was active growing up and played a variety of sports, and in the process has experimented with what it means to be healthy and active and the different facets that this can have. She has an interest in using exercise as medicine; to prevent new injuries from occurring and to prevent old injuries from resurfacing.

Fitness and health has always been a part of Tia's life in some way. While growing up she played almost every sport she could sign up for. Her main sports growing up were Soccer, Volleyball, and Fastball, while also dancing for 11 years. Growing up she was always at practice, rehearsal, or a game that shaped her as an individual and made being active a part of everyday life. This passion lead her to Camosun College for the Bachelors of Sport and Fitness Leadership, specializing in Exercise and Wellness. She completed her degree this past June and continues to grow as a personal trainer. Currently she spends a lot of time doing CrossFit as well as continuing to play Fastball through the summer. Her goal is to be able to help people reach their goals as well as help them start their journeys to a healthier and more active life and sharing her passion to helping people grow themselves. Tia believes strength doesn't come from what you can do, it comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't.

Emily has been passionate about sports, fitness, and dance since childhood. With over 10 years of weightlifting experience, she is thrilled to bring her enthusiasm for strength training to the Panorama team.
Emily believes that health is a journey, not a destination; that fitness and movement are for everyone, at every stage of life, and there is always something we can do to care for ourselves-even on our toughest days. She takes pride in adapting her knowledge into practical, personalized plans for those new to the weight room, seeking a fresh approach, or striving to enhance their sport or lifestyle.
In her free time, Emily enjoys weight training, practicing yoga, cooking, singing, exploring the latest in fitness and nutrition research, and spending time on the beautiful Saanich Peninsula with her husband and two young boys.
