Community Initiatives

On this page:

Panorama Recreation values collaboration and partnerships with our community and is committed to working together to enhance recreation programs and services on the Saanich Peninsula.

Each partnership is customizable and could include sponsoring a recreation program, event or activity, onsite displays, and advertising opportunities.

In addition to partnerships, we are proud of our many community programs and regional initiatives. At Panorama we strive to live out our commitment to community members we serve and the sports and community groups that we support, each and every day.

Greenglade Community Garden

Greenglade Community Centre is home to one of Saanich Peninsula's most active community gardens. The Greenglade Community Garden offers any local resident a place to socialize, exercise, enjoy the fresh air, grow their own food, and be part of the growing activity at Greenglade Community Centre!

Located at 2151 Lannon Way, the garden plots come in a variety of sizes and a few gardens have been designed for people with disabilities or mobility challenges. Garden plots range from $25 - $65/year based on size of the plot.

If you are interested in adding your name to the waitlist, please contact reception at Greenglade Community Centre at 250.656.7055.

Art Exhibition Space

Our art exhibition space was designed to showcase the incredible talent of local community artists. Engaging with art—whether through creating or simply observing—can uplift mood, inspire creativity, and enhance critical thinking skills. We are proud to bring the joy of art and creativity to our centres while offering a platform for artists to share their passion.

Interested in displaying your work? Exhibits are free of charge and rotate regularly. Our space at Panorama Recreation is perfect for paintings, drawings, photography, or other hangable pieces. Let us help you share your art with the community
