Inclusion & Accessibility

We believe that everyone should have an opportunity to participate in recreation activities, and with that, are committed to providing supports and services for community members that work to minimize barriers and encourage participation.

Programs

Committed to making recreation accessible and inclusive, many of our programs can be adapted to meet your needs. If you or your child has a particular inclusion need, please give us a call in advance, and we would be happy to discuss program details and any adaptations or support needed to ensure a positive experience. We appreciate as much advance notice as can be provided.

LIFE - Leisure Involvement for Everyone

Panorama Recreation is pleased to offer the LIFE Program, a regional initiative supported by the Greater Victoria Active Communities to provide no cost and low-cost recreation opportunities for individuals and families on limited incomes.  Learn more about the LIFE program including how to apply.

Leisure Assistant Pass

The Leisure Assistant Pass [PDF/875KB] [PDF/875KB] eliminates the financial barrier by a person with a disability requiring a support person when recreating by providing complimentary admission for the assistant.

Facilities

We operate two main facilities, Panorama Recreation Centre and Greenglade Community Centre, and utilize additional spaces throughout the community to accommodate a variety of seasonal programming.

Safe Space

A safe space is a space where the LGBTQI+ community can freely express themselves without fear. It is a space that does not tolerate violence, bullying, or hate speech towards the LGBTQI+ community.
