Facilities & Amenities
Two arenas at Panorama Recreation Centre, with ice seasonally (August-March and August-April); NHL regulation-sized.
Hockey nets provided. Border Patrol surface divider available upon request.
Single session booking available upon request up to 30 days before desired day and time. Minimum 45 minutes per booking. Cancellation for full refund permitted with at least 7 days’ notice.

One covered, open-air dry floor surface at the Sport Box at Centennial Park; NHL regulation-sized, with acrylic coated asphalt surface, and painted lines for ball hockey, lacrosse and pickleball (4 courts).

Requests are welcome within the timeframes below, via the forms linked. Deadlines are firm. Requests received during an intake period are reviewed en masse, not first submitted first allocated. After an intake period closes, requests are still welcome but, will be considered within what availability remains.

Rental Rates & Information
Panorama Recreation fees are reviewed each year under the Fees and Charges Bylaw. If approved by the Capital Regional District Board, updated fees are posted online. New fees take effect September 1 annually.
Supplementary guidelines for arena users (ice and dry floor), including dressing room assignment processes, participant supervision expectations and user group transitions.
Policies
Please refer to the Policies & Guidelines section of our website for information regarding Panorama Recreation’s Code of Conduct, and private instruction and cancellation policies. Cancellation policies for seasonal and single use bookings differ.
Insurance Requirements
Proof of insurance required for all moderate and high-risk activities, including ice and speed skating, ice and ball hockey, lacrosse and roller skating. Level of coverage will vary dependent on planned facility use. Required coverage details will be provided at time of booking.
Attire and Footwear
To safely and enjoyably utilize facility spaces, participants are expected to wear appropriate, athletic attire – including any recommended safety equipment for the activity being performed. Footwear must have non-marking soles.
Nets
Hockey and lacrosse nets (3x3ft and 4x4ft) provided at Panorama Recreation Centre and the Sport Box. Please ensure nets are returned to designated storage area after use.
Book a skating field trip for your class! Timeslots offered weekly October-March.
Log in using your school’s unique organizational account, which may be obtained from your school administrator.
Select your desired timeslot and complete the included questionnaire - confirming group size, participant ages and teacher information, plus any special amenities requested.
Complete payment using the school credit card assigned to the account. If payment assistance needed, contact Reception.
