Construction Notice

Panorama Recreation will be installing new piping in the weight room ceiling as part of the heat recovery project.

Stage 1: Tuesday - Wednesday, September 16 - 17
The hallway in the weight room (next to the pool windows) will be closed for the day.

Stage 2: Starting Monday, September 22
A portion of the weight room (from the fitness offices to the functional cable machine trainers) will be closed. Select equipment will be relocated to an alternate space to allow continued use.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important upgrade.

Join us for a workout in our weight rooms at Panorama Recreation Centre and Greenglade Community Centre.

Restricted to age 15 and older.
Youth 13 years+ who have taken Youth Weight Room Orientation may attend.

Weight Room Equipment

Extensive selection of strength training equipment including user friendly, pin selected machines for all major movements.
Multiple plate loaded user friendly strength equipment.
Dedicated dumbbell area with adjustable benches and a full selection of dumbbells.
Two squat racks, a deadlift platform and bench press for barbell training.
3 functional trainer cable towers with multiple pull up bar options.
A large open and accessible mezzanine space with a variety of stability balls, BOSUs, medicine balls, dumbbells, foam rollers, soft plyo boxes, balance boards, tubing & TRXs.
Dedicated space for personal training .
Cardiovascular equipment including 7 treadmills, 6 elliptical trainers, 3 AMT (adaptive motion trainers),2 upright and 3 recumbent bikes that feature interactive displays with iPod/iPhone chargers, cable TV, internet and a personal account tracker.
3 Concept II Rowers, 3 Keiser spin bikes, 2 Stair climbers, 2 NUSTEPs & 2 Interactive Expresso gaming bikes.
